Cómo se dice en inglés en el trabajo y la oficina

En el trabajo hacen falta frases cortas, claras y educadas. Aquí tienes las expresiones más útiles para reuniones, correos, pedir ayuda y hablar con compañeros en inglés.

Reuniones

Para empezar: Let's get started. Para opinar: In my opinion… / I think we should… Para pedir repetición: Could you repeat that, please? Para cerrar: Let's wrap up. We'll send the minutes tomorrow.

Pedir ayuda y organizar

Could you help me with this report? I'll get back to you by Friday. Let me check my calendar. What's the deadline? I'm running late, I'll be there in ten minutes.

Correos

Empieza con Dear Mr Smith, o Hi Anna, si hay confianza. Al final: Best regards o Kind regards. Frases: I'm writing to ask about… / Please find the attachment. / Thank you for your quick reply.

Errores comunes

~~I have a reunion at 10.~~ → I have a meeting at 10.
Reunion en inglés es un reencuentro de personas que hacía tiempo que no se veían; para trabajo, meeting.
~~I send you the email tomorrow.~~ → I'll send you the email tomorrow.
Para una promesa o decisión usa will.
~~Please, answer me soon.~~ → Please let me know soon.
Let me know es la fórmula natural para pedir una respuesta.
