Diferencia entre in, on y at para lugares en inglés
Con lugares, in, on y at también se traducen como en. Piensa en tres ideas: in es estar dentro, on es estar sobre una superficie y at es un punto concreto.
In: dentro de un espacio
Usamos in para espacios cerrados o grandes: in a room, in a box, in Madrid, in Spain, in the car, in bed, in the garden.
On: sobre una superficie
Usamos on para superficies y líneas: on the table, on the wall, on the floor, on the first floor, on Gran Vía, on the bus, on the train, on the beach.
At: un punto o una actividad
Usamos at para puntos y lugares con función: at home, at work, at school, at the station, at the airport, at the bus stop, at the door, at a party.
