First, then, after that, finally: conectores de secuencia en inglés
Para explicar una receta, un proceso o lo que hiciste durante el día necesitas ordenar las ideas. Los conectores de secuencia te ayudan a que todo se entienda sin esfuerzo.
Para empezar
First o first of all (primero), to begin with (para empezar). Ejemplo: First, wash the vegetables. First of all, I woke up at seven.
Para continuar
Then (luego), next (a continuación), after that (después de eso), later (más tarde), meanwhile (mientras tanto): Next, cut the onions. After that, heat the oil.
Para terminar
Finally, lastly o in the end cierran la secuencia: Finally, serve the dish. Ojo: at last significa por fin, después de esperar mucho tiempo.
Ejemplos con audio
First, preheat the oven.
Then, add the eggs.
After that, mix everything well.
Finally, serve it hot.
At last, we arrived at the hotel!
Meanwhile, I was cooking dinner.
