Diferencia entre other, another y others en inglés
Para decir otro el inglés tiene varias palabras. Se eligen según si hablas de uno o de varios, y de si es un otro cualquiera o uno concreto y determinado.
Another: uno más
Another (= an + other) se usa con un singular y significa uno más o uno diferente: Can I have another coffee? Let's try another way.
Other: con plural o incontable
Other va con plurales e incontables, nunca con un singular: other people, other ideas, other information. Con the: the other day (el otro día).
The other, others y the others
The other es el otro (de dos): I have two brothers; one is tall and the other is short. Others son otros cualquiera: Some like tea, others like coffee. The others son los demás concretos.
